February 16, 2015 - The Day It Iced

This week has been crazy! This morning we had an ice storm. It is really bizarre. Not snow, hail, or sleet. Just frozen rain. I have no clue how that works. It is actually kind of pretty. I like it.
Some Spanish members picked us and the Hermanas up to go email. I am the only one here who doesn't know Spanish. Sister Garcia said the prayer in Spanish and interpreted in ASL so I would understand. It is funny! She became the interpreter for a minute.
Valentine's Day was great. We are the cutest roommates and just did cute things for each other all day. Then we made orange chicken and orange Julius for dinner and took pictures. Sister Garcia and I were wearing the exact same outfit all day. We totally didn't plan it, I promise! We just have serious companionship unity.
The rest of this week was deaf-tastic! We finally got the address for a deaf less active (Chuck), got two new deaf investigators, and went to two deaf events. But the best news of all: a deaf less active, Bryan, who I have never even met, showed up for stake conference! It was crazy! We have been leaving him notes and texts, and he said they were exactly what he needed. And he found a Book of Mormon in his car and he knew it had been protecting him. He says he is ready to come back!
      Miracles happen y'all!
Love you!

This is what the ground looks like when it ices.

This is what two silly missionaries look like when it ices.

Valentine's dinner.

Happy Valentine's Day!

The library the had the deaf event on Valentine's Day is super cool.
And would you believe me if I said we didn't plan to match?
Sister Kalahiki stayed with us! She went home on Friday :(

Our roommates made a lot of ties this week!
Going for ice cream in Little Rock.

Guys! We are even wearing the same sweater tights from Target. It is ridiculous!
